About This Project
ORGANIQUE SERIES ON PAPER
ORGANIQUE – abstract paintings on paper are a complementary cycle to the series on canvas. The creation begun in 2017 but as far as series on canvas were completed and presented at the exhibition in 2018, I continue to paint paper series in the following years. Inspiration comes from the dynamics of nature – colors, hidden structures and connections. Same as in canvas series, means of expression are: a saturated range of colors, strongly marked elements, flat colored spots, rhythmic shapes contrasting with a more uniform background, referring to the graphic, quick form of the sign and the poster. The size of the paintings is a direct reference to a B1 poster size – 100 x 70 cm.
Size: 100 x 70 cm, Medium: 350 g chalk paper, acrylic paint, pastels.
