About This Project

BOTANICUM SERIES ON CANVAS

Paintings from BOTANICUM series were created during the years of 2010 – 2016. They come from two series: Summer and Oriental Series (Paris, Los Angeles, Kyoto, Warsaw, Masovia) and were presented at my first solo show of paintings in TA3 Gallery in Warsaw, Poland in April/May 2017. Direct inspiration comes from gardens, places I used to live or travelled to, capturing the greenery or landscapes that caught my eye and soul. Paintings titled Summer leaves were inspired by the trees of my own garden in Poland, those with oriental greenery views where inspired by greenery in Jardin des Plants in Paris and California garden, that was surrounding dear place I was living in for a short time of my life.
